Kids Environmental Education Program
KEEP The (Kids Environmental Education Program) is a weekly, after school program offered to fifth grade students. KEEP works to increase student interest and performance in science, while educating students about careers and vital issues relating to environmental protection and preservation. Four major areas of environmental study are explored.

  • Pollution – Air, Water and Land
  • Agriculture
  • Conservation of Resources
  • Preservation of Wild Life and Habitats

Students are involved in a multitude of engaging, and often challenging, hands-on activities, field trips, scientific inquiry, group projects and guest speaker sessions.  Armed with knowledge gained at KEEP, students will be equipped to exercise environmentally responsible behavior now and as adults.

Like all EnterpriseWorks for Youth programs, KEEP is offered at no cost to students, parents or guardians.

KEEP is a program of EnterpriseWorks,a nonprofit organization, and is funded by the Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services and the Ohio EPA Ohio Environmental Education Fund.(OEEF).
