Our History

Founded in 1989 as Project BO$$, EnterpriseWorks initially provided self-employment services in the Columbus, Ohio area.  Steady growth and an established reputation led to our name change in 1998.  Today, EnterpriseWorks is nationally recognized and offers self-employment services throughout Ohio serving consumers in all of the state's major cities and most rural areas.

In 1999, EnterpriseWorks introduced career exploration programs for low-income, middle school age youth residing in Franklin County, Ohio.  Presently, EnterpriseWorks' programs deliver career exploration with an emphasis on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) careers, and instruction in self-sufficiency skills offered through after school programs and summer camps.  Over 1,600 youth have benefited from engaging in EW's youth programs.

EnterpriseWorks' focus is on building self-sufficiency and social responsibility among our consumer communities that include people with disABILITIES, low-income youth and adults, and minority populations throughout Franklin County and Ohio.
